About The Position

A faith-based retirement planning and wealth management firm located in Greenville, SC is dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve their ideal retirement. This is a hands-on marketing position combining prospect engagement, event coordination, and marketing execution. The ideal candidate will be naturally outgoing, curious about others, and confident in starting conversations. The role involves regularly making outbound calls to individuals who have expressed interest in the firm, focusing on developing relationships with prospective clients and guiding them through the decision-making process, rather than high-pressure sales.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in marketing, customer engagement, event coordination, inside sales, appointment setting or related field
Skilled in building strong, trust-based relationships with clients and prospects by providing attentive, personalized service and guidance
Demonstrates strong proficiency and confidence working across various platforms and operating systems including Microsoft Office Suite, Snappy Kraken, and Redtail
Excellent communication; written and verbal
Collaborative team player willing to assist others
Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills by efficiently managing multiple client requests and prioritizing time sensitive tasks
Exhibits meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Self-starter who takes initiative and works well independently
Demonstrates strong integrity and a commitment to ethical conduct, especially when handling confidential client information and financial matters

Responsibilities

Connect with prospective clients by phone, including making outbound calls, following up with leads, answering inbound inquiries, and scheduling appointments.
Help turn interest from seminars and other marketing efforts into conversations and appointments with the advisory team.
Help plan and coordinate prospect and client events, including venues, registrations, attendance confirmations, event materials, and follow-up.
Attend events and help create a welcoming, professional experience for guests.
Schedule appointments with interested prospects at events and through follow-up calls.
Maintain accurate prospect information, lead activity, and follow-up in the CRM (Redtail).
Manage and maintain prospect and client email lists.
Assist with email campaigns, social media, lead tracking, and other marketing initiatives.
Submit marketing materials for compliance review and help manage them through the approval process.
Help continually grow and improve the prospect database and marketing efforts.
