About The Position

The Marketing Automation & Insights Specialist is responsible for executing email campaigns, building out the multi-channel marketing automation program, and reporting on campaign and segment performance. The incumbent will create audience segments; develop simple and complex journey maps and file automation; ensure email deliverability and performance; help ensure email list hygiene and data integrity; and report on performance of email campaigns. The ideal candidate will have proven experience using tools like Marketo, Prisma, HubSpot and similar, and will understand and be able to implement CAN-SPAM and email best practices. The Marketing Automation & Insights Specialist will work closely with IT/IS, retail, and broader marketing teams to implement campaigns. General direction is received from VP, Marketing.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of similar experience.
  • Proficiency with CRM, MAT, and DW platforms.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
  • Experience with implementing a marketing automation tool from the ground up preferred.
  • Experience reporting to external stakeholders and leadership strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build simple and complex email automations, journey maps, and forms within email marketing tool; develop and implement remarketing campaigns
  • Create emails and text messages; develop QA plans to mitigate errors; create A/B and multivariate tests to drive performance
  • Develop GLCU email marketing best practices; ensure email deliverability and performance
  • Help onboard with new marketing technology and implement multi-channel automation
  • Develop test plans for journey maps, emails, and automated processes, and regularly audit rules and campaigns to ensure they’re running properly
  • Work with business partners to define segmentation and automation requirements
  • Manage email list health; report on performance of segments and emails; optimize journey maps based on results
  • Build audience segments within marketing automation tool
  • Being a champion for data governance and integrity
  • Act as the subject matter expert for all things email
  • Responsible for maintaining compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local rules and regulations, and following all GLCU policies, procedures and internal controls.
  • All other duties as assigned.
