About The Position

Works with the Director of Northeast Events to manage event marketing in the Northeast Region. This role involves developing print and electronic event marketing materials, managing invitation lists, distributing materials, and utilizing advanced Salesforce Marketing Cloud features for personalization and A/B testing. The associate will evaluate marketing efforts, maintain records of metrics, create audience-specific content, and leverage AI tools for content creation. They will also assist in drafting marketing language, ensure stakeholder understanding of project progress, and staff events as needed. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience working on corporate, non-profit or political events.
  • Experience working with digital marketing, sales enablement and design platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Outreach.io, and InDesign required.
  • Experience with email design and creating and sending mass email campaigns.
  • Knowledge of email design best practices.
  • Maintain full competency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to interact with vendors professionally, while holding them accountable for the proper work product, services, or equipment for which they have been engaged.
  • Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Establishes and maintains close working relationships with colleagues.
  • Comprehend the overall objective / mission of the event and tailor their work to accomplish that goal.
  • Have a basic understanding of AIPAC’s mission and the issues affecting the U.S.-Israel relationship.
  • Comfort working in the pro-Israel political environment required.
  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Google Analytics or similar email and web metric reporting preferred.
  • Willingness to train and master other intricate database and computer applications.

Responsibilities

  • Manage event marketing in the Northeast Region.
  • Develop print and electronic event marketing materials.
  • Interface with internal and external designers.
  • Use Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Outreach.io to generate invitation lists and distribute event marketing materials.
  • Utilize advanced Salesforce Marketing Cloud features for dynamic personalization, including ampscript and dynamic content blocks.
  • Envision, implement, and evaluate A/B tests and experiments.
  • Evaluate marketing efforts statistically to assess effectiveness and inform future strategies.
  • Keep organized records of marketing metrics and results of past campaigns.
  • Create differentiated marketing content by audience or segment.
  • Assist in drafting marketing language, remarks, interview questions, and brainstorming content ideas for events.
  • Ensure internal stakeholders have a clear understanding of expectations, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and progress.
  • Attend and staff various events as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
