About The Position

Formula Fig is seeking a Marketing Associate to serve as the operational engine for their marketing team. This role involves daily execution of social media community management, UGC pipeline management, and in-person events. The associate will also support brand partnerships and the upcoming FFFormulations launch. The position requires someone who embodies the Formula Fig brand and can translate it into all guest interactions and marketing efforts. The role is based in Los Angeles and requires regular in-person presence at Fig Bars.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years in social media, community management, events, or marketing coordination.
  • Native fluency in Instagram + TikTok; understands platform mechanics, not just trends.
  • Brand-first taste: can articulate why a piece of content is or isn't on-brand, beyond "it looks good".
  • Operationally rigorous: lives in Asana, comfortable with Gorgias, Figma, Google Workspace.
  • Event execution experience: comfortable running on-site logistics, vendor coordination, and same-day problem solving.
  • Experience managing partner networks at scale (10+ active partnerships, gifting coordination, contract trafficking).
  • Strong written communication; can draft caption copy, DM responses, and internal updates in voice.
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving, founder-led environment with shifting priorities.
  • LA-based; able to be in-person at WeHo and Culver Steps Fig Bars regularly.

Nice To Haves

  • Beauty, wellness, or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Klaviyo a bonus.
  • PR / press experience an asset: comfortable with award submissions, journalist outreach, and press list management.

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily social community engagement across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging channels.
  • Draft caption copy for social posts and brand-voice copy for various platforms.
  • Respond to comments, DMs, and tagged stories within 4 hours during working hours.
  • Capture, request, and organize UGC from Fig Fans and guests.
  • Manage the content phone for real-time stories, UGC reshares, and Fig Fan amplification.
  • Own day-to-day Fig Fan outreach, tracking, and Asana board hygiene.
  • Facilitate Fig Fan bookings and treatment coordination.
  • Maintain Gorgias internal notes for every active Fig Fan.
  • Manage Fig Fan referral codes, tracking, and redemption follow-up.
  • Surface trends, top-performing creators, and partnership opportunities to the Marketing team.
  • Track award submission deadlines and assemble materials for industry recognition.
  • Maintain the active press list and journalist outreach tracker.
  • Coordinate sample sends, press kits, and follow-up logistics.
  • Triage incoming press inquiries through Gorgias and route to the marketing team.
  • Pull data and assemble materials for quarterly brand marketing reporting.
  • Execute the day-to-day operations of two active programmes plus in-bar events.
  • Coordinate the active LA + Vancouver gifting partner network.
  • Execute gift card seeding and partner-side admin.
  • Coordinate partner-led activations across the calendar.
  • Execute Surprise & Delight rounds for active brand partners.
  • Coordinate Team Champions: comp facials + on-site content capture.
  • Execute brand partner onboarding logistics.
  • Support brand-led in-bar Fig Bar events end-to-end.
  • Manage pre-event marketing comms and post-event recap content.
  • Maintain the marketing events + partnerships calendar in Asana.
  • Partner daily with the Digital Marketing Associate.
  • Bridge marketing and Guest Experience to ensure Gorgias workflows and guest-facing touchpoints align with brand voice.
  • Coordinate with team on Brand Partnerships on activation execution.
  • Support FFFormulations launch marketing operations.
  • Triage marketing-related guest escalations alongside the Guest Experience team.
  • Participate in the Clienteling Framework for repeat and high-value guests.
  • Asset trafficking, vendor coordination, basic reporting.
  • Maintain the marketing calendar and brief docs to Formula Fig standards.
  • Apply the "no brief, no work" creative standard and the CRI framework on every ask.
