About The Position

Pioneer Bank is hiring a Marketing Assistant to support its Marketing Department and help build awareness, credibility, service, and trust in the communities the bank serves. The role works alongside experienced bankers and supports the VP of Marketing and Marketing Specialist with marketing and business development activities. The position is based at Pioneer Bank’s Mankato Adams Street branch in Mankato, Minnesota, and is full time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Be pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university in accounting, banking, business administration, commercial or banking law, economics, finance, marketing, or another field related to the position; the major must be documented in a transcript or proof of enrollment.
• Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Have completed two full academic years toward a relevant degree.
• Have completed three semester hours in marketing.
• Have a valid driver's license and ready access to a vehicle if travel is warranted.
• Successfully complete a satisfactory credit and background check before the start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist with social media development and management.
• Support the VP of Marketing and Marketing Specialist with business development programs, including event preparation, branded material ordering and distribution, mailings, database management, and progress tracking.
• Manage branded materials, clothing, and supplies for employee use and business development purposes.
• Enhance the internal graphics library for advertisements, sponsorships, promotions, and events.
• Assist with improving the consistency, quality, and presentation of website and brochure content.
• Analyze marketing, giving, and public recognition plans, events, and campaigns to assess return on investment for each campaign or activity.
