About The Position

Rusnak Auto Group, a leader in the automotive industry with a stellar reputation in the Greater Los Angeles and Southern California, is seeking a Marketing Assistant for their Marketing Department in Pasadena. This role offers a great opportunity to advance your marketing career by providing administrative support to the marketing department. Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or current Junior/Senior in college pursuing a degree in business administration or related fields, OR equivalent of 1 year's experience in a same/similar position.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; at least 2 years retail-related experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Current California Driver License with satisfactory Department of Motor Vehicle driving record.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing (Required).
  • Valid CA Driver License (Required).

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 2 years in position of Office Assistant or similar positions in automotive, Retail, Sales, Hospitality, or Food & Beverage industries.
  • Bi-lingual in English and Mandarin Chinese or other language.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Co-op Advertising Claims: Collect documents and ad samples, save to a shared drive, submit to manufacturers monthly, follow up on declined claims, verify fund receipt with the business office, update co-op reporting, and inform the marketing department of monthly updates for each manufacturer.
  • Perform Online Quality Control: Review websites for errors (formatting, malfunctions, spelling) and conduct monthly tests of forms and phone numbers.
  • Assist with Marketing Budgeting and Reporting: Update dealership marketing budget spreadsheets monthly, follow up with the business office for accurate reporting, and assist with reconciling and submitting Marketing Department credit card statements.
  • Maintain CRM Data: Complete customer opt-outs monthly and assist with lead source maintenance and other CRM maintenance tasks.
  • Assist with Online Specials: Update monthly sales and service specials.
  • Maintain Marketing Drive: Organize, file, and keep the M Drive clean, add new creative as needed, and implement an organization process for proper storage.
  • Assist with Marketing Events and Campaigns: Help plan, coordinate, and execute marketing events. Assist in the sales direct mail process (planning, creative review, post-campaign analysis, and reporting). Assist with service direct mail campaign planning and reporting. Maintain a library of sales and services campaigns, including creative and performance information.
