About The Position

Mountain Creek is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join their Marketing Trail team. This position will work directly under the Resort Marketing Manager and collaborate with the Marketing Team and other resort departments. The role involves content creation, social media management, and developing marketing materials. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creative, and passionate about storytelling to elevate the brand.

Requirements

• Recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of social media, content creation and management, graphic design & general admin duties.
• Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) is essential.
• Comfortable in a constantly changing dynamic environment
• Manage deadlines accordingly.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional nights/weekends for special events.
• Passion and ability with the written word.
• Must have strong project management skills, attention to detail, highly organized and ability to collaborate in a creative team environment.
• Outgoing, self-motivated, and hard-working.
• Roll-up sleeves attitude with a hands-on approach to the work

Nice To Haves

• Prior Copywriting experience for a brand preferred.
• Passion for outdoor activities, especially skiing or snowboarding.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating engaging marketing materials, including digital assets for the website and social media, print collateral, on-site materials, and email graphics.
• Help maintain the company’s online presence through website updates and social media.
• Contribute to content creation using graphics, photography, videography, and other media to support campaigns and marketing promotions.
• Collaborate effectively as part of a team and work directly with the Resort Marketing Manager.
• Conduct market research and brainstorming sessions to identify industry trends, innovative ideas, and growth opportunities.
• Provide support for on-resort events, including event setup, promotion, execution, and other related duties.
• Other duties as assigned by the Resort Marketing Manager or SLT.
