About The Position

Inflection Club is a private co-investment community for accredited investors, operators, and family offices seeking direct access to pre-IPO deals in future-shaping companies. As a Marketing Assistant, you will be the operational engine behind Inflection Club's content marketing and community touchpoints. You will support day-to-day execution across our podcast, YouTube channel, email campaigns, and social media presence, ensuring content is published correctly, campaigns are tracked, and audience interactions are professional. This role requires precision execution, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to keep the content machine running smoothly. You will collaborate with the broader operations team to support a community of high-calibre investors.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a marketing assistant, content, or email marketing role, with examples of newsletters or campaigns produced.
  • Essential experience with newsletters, email marketing, and content writing.
  • Strong copywriting skills: ability to write clearly, persuasively, and in another's voice.
  • Excellent written English.
  • Hands-on experience designing and sending emails in a platform such as ActiveCampaign, Klaviyo, or Mailchimp, including layout, formatting, and send logic.
  • Comfortable working across Google Suite, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube Studio, and email marketing platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and operate in a fast-paced, async environment.
  • High integrity and discretion, with the ability to handle sensitive investor communications and community data.
  • Open communicator who surfaces issues early and keeps stakeholders informed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting a podcast or YouTube channel in a production or coordination capacity.
  • Familiarity with email platforms such as ActiveCampaign, Klaviyo, or similar.
  • Exposure to high-ticket or financial services audiences.
  • Familiarity with ClickUp, Notion, or HubSpot.
  • Interest in investing or emerging technology.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate podcast episode logistics, including scheduling, formatting show notes, and preparing for upload.
  • Support the YouTube content pipeline by managing description copy, coordinating thumbnails, tagging, scheduling, and basic channel management.
  • Monitor comments across podcast and YouTube platforms, engaging positively, managing abusive content, and flagging issues for escalation.
  • Track episode performance metrics and populate weekly reporting sheets.
  • Manage the end-to-end production of external and internal newsletters, including writing copy, designing layouts, scheduling, and sending.
  • Write original content for the investor-facing newsletter, covering deal spotlights, market commentary, event previews, and community updates, adhering to Inflection Club's voice and editorial standards.
  • Manage the full email campaign calendar, including newsletters, deal announcements, event invites, and re-engagement sequences, ensuring they are planned, written, designed, and sent on schedule.
  • Adapt tone and content for different audience segments (prospects, active members, internal team) while maintaining the Inflection Club brand voice.
  • Maintain email list hygiene, including segment management, unsubscribes, bounces, and tagging.
  • Track email campaign metrics such as open rates and click-throughs, update tracking sheets, and flag anomalies.
  • Post content to the Facebook Group three times a week and monitor comments and engagement.
  • Monitor LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter/X for unusual activity, spam, or abusive behavior, responding or escalating as appropriate.
  • Monitor comments under paid social ads, message interested prospects, and manage negative or spam content.
  • Hand off engaged group members to the appointment setter team when relevant.
  • Fill out daily and weekly campaign tracking sheets to monitor performance and identify trends.
  • Format content for internal and external communications, including emails, presentations, and reports.
  • Assist with meeting preparation, including taking minutes and distributing notes.
  • Manage access to relevant Notion pages and Google Drive folders.
  • Complete subscription purchases for marketing tools and services.
  • Conduct research on miscellaneous requests across various topics quickly and accurately.
