About The Position

Premier Equisport Events is seeking a creative, detail-driven Marketing & Media Coordinator to support our event series at the Colorado Horse Park. This seasonal, 1099 contract role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, on-site event environment and has a passion for equestrian sport, storytelling, and brand presentation. This position plays a key role in shaping the voice and visibility of our shows-blending social media management, content creation, communications, and light design work to engage our audience year-round.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or design (equestrian or event industry experience strongly preferred)
  • Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for brand voice and tone
  • Basic graphic design capabilities (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar)
  • Experience with social media scheduling tools and website content management systems
  • Ability to work on-site in Parker, CO during show dates and manage deadlines independently

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute social media content across Facebook and Instagram during show season and off-season
  • Write and distribute weekly press releases during active competition weeks, plus additional releases in the off-season
  • Maintain and update the event website with schedules, prize lists, links, and timely information
  • Produce official prize lists and supporting materials for each competition week
  • Create select branded merchandise and apparel concepts for the Ryder Shoppe
  • Coordinate with photographers, videographers, and media partners to ensure consistent, high-quality event coverage
  • Support sponsorship recognition efforts and assist with marketing materials as needed
