About The Position

The Marketing and Recruiting Specialist will provide the first point of contact for the Arkansas Materials Institute and will offer marketing and recruiting support for the institute. The role involves marketing and recruiting efforts to grow the Arkansas Materials Institute and Materials Science and Engineering program. Additional responsibilities include providing a positive impression for visitors, faculty, staff, and students entering the Arkansas Materials Institute building and assisting the administrative manager with administrative tasks. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience in marketing, communications, recruitment, or administrative support.
  • Must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • At least one year of experience in higher education or a research environment.
  • At least one year of experience planning events and coordinating multiple projects.
  • At least one year of experience with website management or graphic design tools.

Responsibilities

  • Provide marketing and recruiting support for the Arkansas Materials Institute.
  • Conduct marketing and recruiting efforts to grow the Arkansas Materials Institute and Materials Science and Engineering program.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for the Arkansas Materials Institute.
  • Ensure a positive impression for visitors, faculty, staff, and students entering the building.
  • Assist the administrative manager with administrative tasks.
