In summary, the Marketing and Recruiting Specialist will provide the first point of contact of Arkansas Materials Institute and will provide marketing and recruiting support for institute. The Marketing and Recruiting Specialist will report to the Arkansas Materials Institute administrative manager. The Marketing and Recruiting Specialist responsibilities will include marketing and recruiting efforts to grow the Arkansas Materials Institute and Materials Science and Engineering program. Additional responsibilities include providing a positive impression for visitors, faculty, staff and students as they enter the Arkansas Materials Institute building and assisting the administrative manager with administrative tasks. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • At least one year of experience in marketing, communications, recruitment, or administrative support

Nice To Haves

  • At least one year of experience in higher education or a research environment
  • At least one year of experience planning events and coordinating multiple projects
  • At least one year of experience with website management or graphic design tools

Responsibilities

  • Provide the first point of contact of Arkansas Materials Institute.
  • Provide marketing and recruiting support for the institute.
  • Conduct marketing and recruiting efforts to grow the Arkansas Materials Institute and Materials Science and Engineering program.
  • Provide a positive impression for visitors, faculty, staff and students as they enter the Arkansas Materials Institute building.
  • Assist the administrative manager with administrative tasks.
