About The Position

Position Purpose: Manages the internal and external Communications and Marketing Plan and Strategy for Family Wellness. Marketing duties include the promotional facets of Family Wellness’ mission, programs, and events through printed materials, social media, email campaigns, internal and external messaging while maintaining alignment with the brand, vision, and values of the organization. Develops the overall plan for bringing new people into the organization through a robust Marketing plan. Manages media relations for the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, graphic design, or related field required.
  • Graphic design experience with Adobe Creative Suite required.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal relations and communications skills and be detail oriented.
  • Applicant should have strong organizational, writing, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, Word Press, and Microsoft Office Products preferred.
  • Applicants must maintain a high level of creativity and be able to contribute to a fun, professional, and energetic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of the overall communications and marketing strategy, while tracking and maintaining a budget.
  • Develops membership promotional strategies with the Sr. Manager of Membership & Family Services to recruit new members and encourage retention.
  • Collaborates with external organizations to promote Family Wellness and increase community relations and awareness through partnerships and sponsorships.
  • Assists with the coordination, development, and implementation of all internal communication pieces for staff and members.
  • Works in partnership with department managers, under the direction of the Director of Administration, to support the needs of departments and contribute to creative solutions.
  • Assists with the promotion of new programs and events, including, but not limited to: social media, printed materials, email campaigns, and digital display content
  • Plan, create and manage an engaging social media strategy across various platforms
  • Assists with review of company documents to identify proper brand standards and communication.
  • Manages the Family Wellness Fargo website.
  • Boosts member experience, satisfaction, and loyalty by capturing feedback through the member survey platform (MxM) and utilize data to assess member needs. Assists Director of Administration with organizational assessment.
  • Collaborates with vendors to design and develop Family Wellness promotional items and merchandise for employees and members.
  • Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis and optimize accordingly.
