About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Marketing and Communications Manager to join our healthcare team. Iowa Radiology is a patient-centered practice that promotes a more compassionate approach to medicine. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in helping us continue to be the premier provider of radiologic services in Iowa by providing high-quality imaging services, ensuring patient safety, and delivering accurate diagnostic information. The Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing marketing, branding, public relations, and communication strategies that enhance organizational visibility, engagement, and growth. This position manages internal and external communications, digital marketing initiatives, content creation, media relations, and promotional campaigns to support organizational goals and strengthen brand awareness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field required.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in marketing and/or communications.
  • Demonstrated experience in digital marketing, media relations, and content development across multiple platforms.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with attention to accuracy and tone.
  • Experience developing and executing communication strategies for both internal and external audiences.
  • Proficiency in marketing and communication tools with meaningful experience in Google Analytics, CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and social media management tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communications plans aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Manage and maintain brand standards, messaging, and visual identity across all platforms.
  • Manage the day-to-day marketing requests across the organization.
  • Identify opportunities to increase brand awareness and audience engagement.
  • Monitor marketing trends and recommend innovative strategies.
  • Ensure brand consistency across materials and communications.
  • Respond to routine marketing requests and project coordination needs.
  • Develop and distribute press releases and public announcements.
  • Creates and distributes internal newsletters and other internal communications for the organization.
  • Manage the day-to-day communications requests across the organization.
  • Serves as a primary contact for media inquiries and public relations activities.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with media outlets, community organizations, referring provider communications, and other stakeholders.
  • In partnership with our Agency of Record, assist in the creation, editing, and oversight of high-quality content for websites, social media, email campaigns, blogs, and promotional materials.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
  • Develop storytelling strategies that highlight organizational achievements, and impact.
  • Manage website content and digital marketing initiatives.
  • Create strong social media presence for the organization.
  • Plan and promote events, programs, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Coordinate marketing materials and communications for special events.
  • Represent the organization at community events, networking opportunities, and public functions.
  • Develop partnerships that support marketing and communication objectives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
