About The Position
United Prairie Bank is hiring a full-time Market President for its Owatonna, Minnesota branch. The Market President oversees the market location and provides positive, proactive, and consistent leadership, direction, public representation, and guidance to support the bank’s short- and long-term profitability, planned growth, and prosperity. The role is responsible for direct lending, supervising lenders, credit quality, collections, loan review, marketing efforts, networking, and contacting prospective customers to promote quality lending, maintain loan growth, and sustain a quality portfolio. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday. Annual base compensation is $137,058–$210,738, with eligibility for additional compensation based on individual and company performance. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 10 or more years of banking experience.
- Five to seven years of management experience.
- Ability to deliver an exceptional customer service experience.
- Problem-solving skills to find effective solutions.
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively with other team members.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the market location and provide leadership, direction, public representation, and guidance.
- Support short- and long-range profitability, planned growth, and the bank’s prosperity.
- Perform direct lending and supervise lenders.
- Oversee credit quality, collection functions, and loan review.
- Lead marketing efforts, network, and make calls on prospective customers.
- Promote quality lending to maintain loan growth and a quality portfolio.
