About The Position

The Market Manager - Pharmaceutical - West Coast is responsible for the Profit and Loss and growth of the Pharmaceutical business within their defined region. This role involves compiling reports for senior leadership, forecasting market trends, developing strategic growth plans, and monitoring market penetration. The Market Manager will also train, monitor, and motivate Territory Managers, Architectural Design & Engineering Reps, and Area Managers to promote and sell into the Pharmaceutical Market. Additionally, this position is responsible for managing National and Regional Accounts, potentially serving as the main lead for Key Accounts, and maintaining key relationships with Pharmaceutical accounts, Architectural Design and Engineering firms, Design Build firms, and Specialty Contractors in the region.

Requirements

4+ years’ industry experience in similar sales, design, or equivalent role.
Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication, presentation, organization and planning skills.
Must be very flexible and able to work in a self-directed, rapidly changing environment.
Has the ability to organize and prioritize activities.
Must be computer literate with experience using technology and customer relationship management software (Salesforce.com), and Microsoft 365.
Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

Direct responsibility for Profit and Loss / Growth of Pharmaceutical business within the defined region.
Compiles reports for Director and Senior Director who shares with VP - Sales, VP - Business Development and General Sales Managers across the USA evaluating Pharmaceutical Market performance.
Responsible for market forecasting, strategic plan for growth, monitors and reports on market penetration.
Trains, monitors and motivates the Territory Managers, Architectural Design & Engineering Reps and Area Managers to promote and sell into the Pharmaceutical Market.
Responsible for National and Regional Accounts in the Region - could include main lead for Key Accounts.
Handle the key relationships for Pharmaceutical accounts, Architectural Design and Engineering firms, and Design Build firms, along with Specialty Contractors in the region.
