About The Position

The West Coast Territory Manager – Private Sector Sales will own and grow the private-sector business across the Western U.S., with a primary focus on HOA, Business & Industrial (B&I), and speed-camera opportunities. This is a hunter role. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, competitive, resourceful, and comfortable creating opportunities from the ground up. The right person will take ownership of the territory, spend significant time in the field, build relationships at every level, uncover new opportunities, create pipeline, and turn that pipeline into closed business.

Requirements

  • Hunter mentality — you enjoy finding the opportunity rather than waiting for it.
  • Self-starter who does not need to be told where to go or who to call.
  • Highly competitive, persistent, and comfortable hearing “no.”
  • Strong prospecting and cold-outreach skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and create opportunities with limited initial information.
  • Comfortable selling into complex organizations with multiple decision-makers.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Ability to manage a large territory independently.
  • Willingness to spend significant time traveling and in front of customers.
  • Strong CRM discipline and accountability around pipeline.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling into HOA, B&I, commercial, security, traffic, parking, property management, or related markets is a plus.
  • Experience with speed-camera, traffic-calming, safety, or technology solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own the West Coast private-sector territory and develop a clear plan for growth.
  • Aggressively prospect for new HOA, B&I, commercial, corporate, property-management, and speed-camera opportunities while also leveraging our Customer Base.
  • Build relationships with HOA boards, property managers, security teams, facility managers, corporate decision-makers, integrators, and other key stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for TAPCO solutions across the broader traffic-calming portfolio.
  • Develop new business within large B&I organizations and identify opportunities to expand across multiple locations or business units.
  • Build and maintain a healthy, measurable pipeline through consistent prospecting and field activity.
  • Conduct frequent onsite visits, customer meetings, presentations, demonstrations, and territory-development trips.
  • Develop relationships with strategic partners, integrators, consultants, and other channels that can generate new opportunities.
  • Manage opportunities from initial prospecting through qualification, proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Maintain accurate CRM activity, pipeline, close dates, and next steps.
  • Develop quarterly and annual territory plans with specific revenue and pipeline objectives.
  • Re-engage existing customers to uncover new projects, locations, and cross-sell opportunities while continuing to prioritize new-logo business.
  • Travel extensively throughout the territory to meet customers and develop business.

Benefits

  • Aggressive Industry OTE paid monthly
  • 10 Paid Holidays
  • Paid Vacation and Personal Time (starting day one)
  • Four Weeks of Paid Parental Leave with no waiting period
  • 401K Plan with Employer Match (fully vested on day one)
