About The Position

Altman Plants is seeking enthusiastic Market Leads to work at retail store locations, independently and as part of a team. The role involves handling live plants shipped on delivery racks, stocking and servicing displays, and communicating with coworkers and store personnel about the needs of assigned garden centers. The position offers paid training, flexible scheduling options, and work outdoors in seasonal weather conditions. Budgeted hours vary by season and are affected by weather and sales demands. Responsibilities

Maintain a sales-ready appearance for plants and displays.
Merchandise plants and remove empty racks.
Rotate and merchandise products and add price signs.
Dispose of and record scrap of non-sellable plants regularly.
Assist with resets, displays, and special events.
Communicate effectively with Altman Plants merchandisers and supervisors.
Work cooperatively with vendors and retail associates.
Provide feedback and inventory updates to internal teams.
Respond to communications while on the clock.
Complete inventory cycle counts as directed.
Review sales reports to ensure product flow meets goals.
Work assigned schedules, including weekends and holidays, and follow a consistent service-call schedule for assigned stores.
Follow safety guidelines, use equipment safely, and keep work areas clean and safe.
Use tools such as pallet jacks, pruners, and ladders.
Follow company SOPs and complete tasks as instructed by supervisors.
Assist in training new team members at the assigned location.
Use a cell phone for job-related tasks, including clocking in and out, checking in and out of stores, taking photos, and completing tasks.
