About The Position

At Bank of America, the Market Financial Center Manager supports a cluster of financial centers in designated markets when the assigned financial center manager is absent and serves as a market-level resource. The role manages financial centers with an owner’s mindset, fosters a team environment, and promotes a client-centric and risk-aware culture. It drives operational excellence and ensures the financial centers operate effectively and cohesively. The position may include managing associates. Managers are expected to foster inclusion, use process knowledge and data-driven decisions, communicate clearly, identify and resolve risks, coach and develop employees, manage expenses, recruit and onboard talent, and deliver business outcomes through effective team management and routines. This is a first-shift role for 40 hours per week. The manager must be able to work weekends and/or extended hours and travel to any financial center within the defined market.

Requirements

At least one year of leadership experience demonstrated through coaching, training, and/or motivating a work team.
Ability to influence and collaborate with people outside the reporting structure to achieve shared goals.
Customer service skills and ability to resolve problems independently or escalate as needed to promote customer satisfaction.
Strong financial and business acumen, including experience leading managers and interpreting financial reports to drive profitability.
Record of balancing risk and making sound decisions while achieving business goals.
Strong interpersonal skills, including engaging others in dialogue, building and deepening relationships, and providing personalized service.
Strong organizational skills, including managing multiple responsibilities, prioritizing, and delegating while delivering results.
Strong verbal, non-verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, as well as active listening skills.
Proficiency in computer skills and professional programs such as Microsoft Office.
Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours and travel to any financial center within the defined market.
High School Diploma, GED, secondary school, or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

One year of management experience, including hiring, coaching, and developing direct reports.
Experience in consumer banking or financial services, mortgage, retail, and/or hospitality.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Fluency in both spoken and written bilingual communication.
