About The Position
W.B. Mason is hiring a full-time Market Development Specialist for an outside sales role. The specialist develops an assigned territory by visiting local businesses on foot or by car, introducing them to W.B. Mason’s workplace products and services, and identifying their needs. The role includes demonstrating products, presenting web tools and custom pricing, and helping new customers get started through MasonvilleGO. The specialist coordinates with inside sales and onboarding teams to ensure new accounts transition smoothly, and attends regular branch sales meetings.
Requirements
- Experience in customer service, retail sales, or a related area.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently.
- Ability to converse, read, and write in English.

Responsibilities
- Explore and develop an assigned territory by visiting local businesses on foot or by car.
- Introduce potential customers to W.B. Mason’s products and services using flyers and a consultative approach.
- Meet with potential clients and identify their needs.
- Demonstrate products, present web tools, and offer custom pricing.
- Help new customers get set up through MasonvilleGO.
- Coordinate with inside sales and onboarding teams to ensure new accounts are smoothly transitioned and supported.
- Participate in regular branch sales meetings.
