About The Position

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our team in the Philippines as a market development manager. In this role, you will manage all related sales activities, including tracking sales trends, developing sales strategy, actively participating in promotion planning, producing business analytics, and executing training and coaching sessions for USANA’s Brand Partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum seven years of relevant experience, including at least three years at a managerial or supervisory level
  • Previous experience in the direct selling industry, natural products industry, or a similar role
  • High proficiency in written and verbal English
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, with strong training, stage presentation, and public speaking ability
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Detail- and results-oriented, with experience working in complex environments and the ability to work autonomously

Responsibilities

  • Maintain close contact and build strong relationships with independent Brand Partners particularly identified leaders and IDC members, keeping them informed of USANA news and direction
  • Identify emerging leaders and help them grow through monitoring, counseling, and encouragement
  • Develop and execute a yearly training program for Brand Partners at every level and seniority, including managing the training calendar and facilitating onsite trainings and coaching
  • Plan and execute recognition and incentive programs that reward Brand Partners' successful behavior from congratulatory calls and rank-advancement lapel pins to annual awards ceremonies and local, foreign, and regional incentive trips
  • Partner with the marketing department to organize prospecting events, such as roadshows, product launches, and “Open Days,” to expand Brand Partners’ opportunities
  • Provide timely, accurate feedback to management on industry and competitive conditions, and monitor the results of promotional campaigns, sharing best practices
  • Propose annual training and recognition budgets, monitor spending against them, compile sales and promotion forecasts, and reconcile sales team accounts in line with corporate guidelines
  • Document sales activities to grow the number of Brand Partners, and analyze group sales trends by down-line and region to produce sales report
  • Lead, develop, and supervise assigned staff, and participate as a core member of the management team
  • Handle complaints related to sales promotions and other issues they raise, and build strong working relationships with functional teams to keep sales-related processes running smoothly
  • Travel domestically and internationally, including weekends and nights, as required for USANA events
