Market Delivery Intern - Undergraduate Internship – Summer 2027
About The Position
The Market Delivery Intern supports Lowe’s Market Delivery team by maintaining and updating operational data sources and coordinating with partners across the company. The work includes managing master data for Bulk Distribution Centers (BDCs), Cross-Dock Delivery Terminals (XDTs), stores, and delivery-eligible items and assortments, as well as developing documentation to support accurate and consistent data management. The intern will assist with cargo claims process improvement by mapping workflows, analyzing claims data, and identifying ways to simplify claim reporting. The position also supports senior business and delivery operations leaders in executing regional delivery provider strategies and maintaining program governance. The internship provides hands-on experience in data management, supply chain operations, process improvement, business analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. This is part of Lowe’s 10-week, project-based Summer 2027 Internship Program, scheduled for May 24 through July 30, 2027, and based at the company’s headquarters in Mooresville, North Carolina.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel, and data analysis tools.
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, problem-solving, analytical, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
- Relevant internship or experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, data analytics, or project management.
- Leadership experience at work or in a campus organization.
Responsibilities
- Conduct stakeholder interviews to understand Market Delivery processes, business needs, and improvement opportunities.
- Validate and maintain master data for BDCs, XDTs, stores, and delivery-eligible items and assortments.
- Develop guidebooks and process documentation to standardize data maintenance and improve operational consistency.
- Create process maps to assess workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to delivery operations.
- Analyze cargo claims data to identify root causes and trends and improve claim reporting and documentation.
- Participate in status meetings, document project updates, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on Market Delivery initiatives.
- Develop communication materials and program updates to improve stakeholder awareness and operational coordination.
- Support regional delivery provider strategies and program governance.
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance data accuracy, streamline workflows, and improve Market Delivery operations.
