Market Delivery Intern - Undergraduate Internship – Summer 2027
About The Position
The Market Delivery Intern supports Lowe’s Market Delivery team by maintaining and updating key operational data and coordinating with partners across the company. The role includes managing master data for Bulk Distribution Centers (BDCs), Cross-Dock Delivery Terminals (XDTs), stores, and delivery-eligible items and assortments; creating process documentation and guides; and supporting improvements to cargo claims processes through process mapping and data analysis. The intern also supports senior business and delivery operations leaders with regional delivery provider strategies and program governance. The 10-week, project-based internship offers hands-on experience in data management, supply chain operations, process improvement, business analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. It is based at Lowe’s headquarters in Mooresville, North Carolina.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and data analysis tools.
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, problem-solving, analytical, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
- Relevant internship or experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, data analytics, or project management.
- Experience in a leadership position at work or within a campus organization.
Responsibilities
- Conduct stakeholder interviews to understand Market Delivery processes, business needs, and improvement opportunities.
- Validate and maintain master data for BDCs, XDTs, stores, and delivery-eligible items and assortments.
- Develop guidebooks and process documentation to standardize data maintenance and improve operational consistency.
- Create process maps to evaluate workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend delivery operations improvements.
- Analyze cargo claims data to identify root causes and trends and improve claim reporting and documentation.
- Participate in status meetings, document project updates, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Develop communications and program updates to improve stakeholder awareness, support regional delivery provider strategies, and strengthen operational coordination.
- Contribute to initiatives that improve data accuracy, streamline workflows, and increase the efficiency of Market Delivery operations.
