About The Position
ISO New England is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student for a Market Data Analyst Project Intern position within the Internal Market Monitoring team. This internship offers hands-on experience in analyzing complex electricity market data, creating visualizations, and uncovering trends to support fair and efficient markets. The role involves working with a multidisciplinary team, pulling and analyzing data, presenting insights, and researching new methodologies. Interns will gain exposure to electricity market operations and ISO New England’s role in the clean energy transition.
Requirements
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Demonstrated ability to research, document, and share new knowledge.
- Interest in data analysis, visualization, and energy markets.

Responsibilities
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to monitor wholesale market outcomes and participant behavior.
- Pull and analyze complex market data to identify trends and insights.
