About The Position

Horseshoe Bay Resort is hiring a Market Attendant & Barista to prepare beverages, assist guests, and support daily operations in the hotel market. The role focuses on efficient service, product quality, and maintaining a clean, organized retail environment. The position is full-time and on-site at The Hotel Market, with pay of $14.00 per hour plus tips.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Food Handler’s Certificate required, or ability to obtain it before starting.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn POS systems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and reliable work ethic.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Previous retail, barista, or food service experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare coffee beverages and fulfill food orders accurately and efficiently.
• Provide professional, friendly service to guests and assist with product selection.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash, credit, and room charge transactions.
• Maintain market cleanliness and organization, including restocking and inventory support.
• Follow established recipes, service standards, and operational procedures.
• Work independently to manage daily tasks and resolve customer needs.
