About The Position
This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy in the CUPE4207-1 (Employee Group) MBAB 5P35-Financial Accounting II Course Description. The theory and practice of financial statement preparation in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Complex issues including accounting for leases, pensions, future income taxes, inter corporate investments and cash flow reporting. Marker-Grader positions are paid according to the qualifications that the employee holds.
Requirements
- Must have completed MBAB 5P35 (or equivalent in English) and attained a grade of 80% or higher
- Graduate of or Major in Accounting with a minimum major average of 75%
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Proven track record of working effectively with deadlines
Nice To Haves
- Previous Marker/Grader experience is considered an asset
Responsibilities
- Mark assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams.
- Provide written feedback to students that will clearly identify the basis of the grade assigned; whether it is due to substantive content, or to written communications, including spelling, punctuation, grammar, and overall structure and organization of the submission.
- Invigilate mid-terms and examinations for this course, or enter grades into databases, at the request of the course instructor.
