About The Position
Brock University is seeking a Marker-Grader for the Business Ethics course (ETHC 3P82) for the Fall D2 term. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 employee group. The role involves marking assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, and final exams, and providing written feedback to students. The marker-grader may also be asked to invigilate exams and enter grades into databases. Requirements
- Must have completed ETHC 3P82 (or equivalent in English) and attained a grade of 80% or higher.
- Graduate of or Major in Business with a minimum major average of 75%.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven track record of working effectively with deadlines.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Marker/Grader experience is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Mark assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams.
- Provide written feedback to students that clearly identifies the basis of the grade assigned, including substantive content, written communications, spelling, punctuation, grammar, and overall structure and organization.
- Invigilate mid-terms and examinations for this course, at the request of the course instructor.
- Enter grades into databases, at the request of the course instructor.
