About The Position

Requirements

  • Must have completed COSC 4P61 (or equivalent in English) and attained a grade of 80% or higher.
  • Graduate of or Major in Computer Science with a minimum major average of 75%.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven track record of working effectively with deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Marker/Grader experience is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Mark assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams.
  • Provide written feedback to students that clearly identifies the basis of the grade assigned, including substantive content, written communications (spelling, punctuation, grammar), and overall structure and organization.
  • Potentially invigilate mid-terms and examinations for the course.
  • Potentially enter grades into databases at the request of the course instructor.
