About The Position

Brock University is seeking a Marker-Grader for the OBHR 3P97 Winter D3 position. This role is part of the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group and falls under Human Resource Management. The position is paid according to the qualifications the employee holds, with rates effective September 1, 2026. Requirements

Must have completed OBHR 3P97 (or equivalent in English) and attained a grade of 80% or higher.
Graduate of or Major in Business with a minimum major average of 75%.
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
Proven track record of working effectively with deadlines.
Members shall not accept any appointment which, taken together with all other appointments at the University, would cause the member to exceed the maximum number of regular hours (i.e., not overtime hours) allowable in a work week under the Employment Standards Act, as amended from time to time.

Responsibilities

Mark assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams.
Provide written feedback to students that clearly identifies the basis of the grade assigned, including substantive content, written communications, spelling, punctuation, grammar, and overall structure and organization.
Potentially invigilate mid-terms and examinations for the course.
Potentially enter grades into databases, at the request of the course instructor.
