About The Position

Brock University is seeking a Marker-Grader for the OBHR 4P95 course during the Winter D3 term. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group. Requirements

  • Must have completed OBHR 4P95 (or equivalent in English) and attained a grade of 80% or higher.
  • Graduate of or Major in Business with a minimum major average of 75%.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven track record of working effectively with deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Marker/Grader experience is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Mark assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams.
  • Provide written feedback to students that clearly identifies the basis of the grade assigned, including substantive content, written communications (spelling, punctuation, grammar), and overall structure and organization.
  • Potentially invigilate mid-terms and examinations for the course.
  • Potentially enter grades into databases, at the request of the course instructor.

  • Compensation based on qualifications (Master’s Degree Complete: $36.00/hour; Undergraduate Degree Complete: $31.04/hour; Third Year Complete: $22.91/hour; Second Year Complete: $20.15/hour; First Year Complete: $19.00/hour). Rates effective September 1, 2026.
