About The Position
This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy for Marker-Grader positions within the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group at Brock University. Requirements
- Must have completed CHEM 1P92 (or equivalent in English) and attained a grade of 80% or higher.
- Graduate of or Major in Chemistry with a minimum major average of 75%.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven track record of working effectively with deadlines.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Marker/Grader experience is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Mark assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams.
- Provide written feedback to students that clearly identifies the basis of the grade assigned, whether due to substantive content, or to written communications, including spelling, punctuation, grammar, and overall structure and organization of the submission.
- May be expected to invigilate mid-terms and examinations for this course, or enter grades into databases, at the request of the course instructor.
