About The Position
Brock University is seeking a Marker-Grader for the OBHR 3P42 Fall D2 course. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group. Marker-Grader positions are paid according to the qualifications the employee holds, with rates effective September 1, 2026. Requirements
- Must have completed OBHR 3P42 (or equivalent in English) and attained a grade of 80% or higher.
- Graduate of or Major in Business with a minimum major average of 75%.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven track record of working effectively with deadlines.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Marker/Grader experience is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Mark assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams.
- Provide written feedback to students that clearly identifies the basis of the grade assigned, including substantive content, written communications, spelling, punctuation, grammar, and overall structure and organization.
- May be expected to invigilate mid-terms and examinations for this course.
- May be expected to enter grades into databases, at the request of the course instructor.
