River Valley Marine is hiring a skilled Marine Technician to join our Long Lake service team. Requirements

• Previous experience as a Marine Technician, Marine Mechanic, Automotive Technician, Diesel Technician, Powersports Technician, RV Technician, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, or similar mechanical role
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced service environment
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Team-oriented attitude
• Valid driver's license required

Nice To Haves

• Marine technician or boat mechanic experience
• Experience with outboard, inboard, and sterndrive engines
• Electrical diagnostics, wiring, and marine electronics experience
• Experience with Mercury, Yamaha, Suzuki, Volvo Penta, or other marine power systems
• Manufacturer certifications
• Experience using Lightspeed EVO or dealership management systems

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair marine engines, boat systems, and marine equipment
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and mechanical repairs
• Complete winterization, de-winterization, commissioning, and seasonal service work
• Service outboard, inboard, and sterndrive engines
• Install and repair marine electrical systems, electronics, wiring, and accessories
• Utilize manufacturer diagnostic software and dealership management systems
• Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently
• Work closely with service advisors and fellow technicians to exceed customer expectations
• Safely move boats, trailers, and equipment when necessary
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
