Marine Service Tech - Full Time
About The Position
The Marine Service Technician performs service and warranty repairs on boats, motors, trailers, and ATVs in a timely and efficient manner according to manufacturer specifications. The role includes troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems, installing accessories, performing rigging as needed, and water-testing units with customers to verify completed work and explain product operation. The technician advises customers on technical questions and recommendations, maintains a clean and professional work area, and performs other duties as assigned. Work is performed under general supervision using established procedures and innovation, with occasional independent judgment to complete assignments and recommendations on work procedures, policies, and practices.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent experience.
- Understanding of electrical systems and wiring.
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers and associates.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, associates, and customers.
- Ability to lift heavy items up to and in excess of 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Ability to work both inside and outside.
- Provide own tools.

- Higher-level technical certifications preferred.
