About The Position

The Marketing Communications Intern will work on a project within Sensata’s Aftermarket unit. Based in Attleboro, Massachusetts, the role provides a concentrated view of marketing communications responsibilities at Sensata and a realistic preview of working at the company. Projects vary according to current business needs, with details provided before the internship begins and guidance from the global communications team. Sensata’s twelve-week internship program includes informational lunch-and-learns, group outings, networking, and opportunities to interact with global team members.

Requirements

Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s-level degree (for example, an MBA) in an accredited program, with an interest or focus in marketing communications.
Comfort using Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely to peers, managers, and customers.
Ability to apply core marketing concepts to complex, unfamiliar, and novel problems.
Strong organization and attention to detail.
Curiosity, a strong work ethic, passion for learning, initiative, and creative thinking.
Proper work authorization is required; U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is not required.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud programs such as Photoshop, InDesign, or Illustrator.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Communications, Marketing, and Business Units to support marketing campaign execution for the aftermarket business.
Support the development of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and presentations.
Brainstorm and generate creative ideas for promotions and brand awareness initiatives with the marketing team.
Assist in coordinating events and trade shows.
Assist with email marketing, including list management, content creation, and performance tracking.
Provide administrative support to the marketing communications team, including organizing the asset library, tracking expenses, and supporting reporting activities.
