About The Position

The Manufacturing Trainer conducts established training programs in manufacturing or engineering processes and monitors training effectiveness using established evaluation techniques. The role requires knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the relevant field, along with expert knowledge of product assembly processes. The trainer may also perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Operate a personal computer, including a Windows-based operating system and related software.
• Have advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages.
• Have expert knowledge of product assembly processes.
• Demonstrate adherence to safety protocols.
• Write simple correspondence and read and understand visual aids.
• Apply common-sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
• Deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
