Manufacturing Trainer
About The Position
Quanex is looking for a Manufacturing Trainer to join our team located in Rice Lake, WI. The hours for this position are 6am-2:30pm. This role involves training new employees on window screen manufacturing, measurement techniques, and production documentation, as well as providing ongoing training to ensure employees can perform department-specific tasks effectively. The trainer will also maintain employee training records, set up and manage training materials, and develop training packets for all departments. Collaboration with supervisors and quality teams to identify needs and resolve training-related issues is key, as is supporting new training programs and working across departments, including overtime as needed.
Requirements
- 1 – 3 years of experience in manufacturing, department operations, and manufacturing software
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with employees, supervisors, and managers
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office
Responsibilities
