About The Position

Quanex is looking for a Manufacturing Trainer to join their team in Rice Lake, WI. This role involves training new and existing employees on window screen manufacturing processes, measurement techniques, and production documentation. The trainer will also be responsible for developing and managing training materials, maintaining training records, and partnering with supervisors and quality teams to identify and resolve training-related issues. The position may require overtime as needed to support new training programs and cross-departmental collaboration.

Requirements

• 1 – 3 years of experience in manufacturing, department operations, and manufacturing software
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with employees, supervisors, and managers
• Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills
• Working knowledge of MS Office

Responsibilities

• Train new employees on window screen manufacturing, measurement techniques, and production documentation
• Provide ongoing training to ensure employees can perform department-specific tasks effectively
• Maintain employee training records and job certifications
• Set up and manage training materials, facilities, and documentation
• Develop training packets for all departments
• Partner with supervisors and quality teams to identify needs and resolve training-related issues
• Support new training programs and work across departments, including overtime as needed
