Manufacturing Trainer (Bilingual)
About The Position
MAT Industries, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Manufacturing Trainer who is bilingual in Spanish to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and quality control and be able to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. The Manufacturing Trainer will foster a positive learning environment that encourages employee engagement and continuous improvement. When training is not needed, this employee will complete assembly related tasks in a manufacturing environment. This role requires effective verbal and written communication skills, a sense of urgency to complete the production schedule on time, and accepting personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work. The employee will accurately and timely complete all required reporting functions, clean and assemble equipment while following safety procedures and practices, and maintain a clean, orderly work environment. The ability to work in a fast-paced team environment is essential.
Requirements
- Bilingual (Spanish & English) Required
- Ability to effectively communicate processes, both formal & informal, in a way that new hires can comprehend.
- An open communication style creates a setting where employees are comfortable asking questions.
- Relevant production experience within the last 5 years.
- Ability to understand and follow simple assembly instructions.
- Ability to cross-train jobs and rotate as needed.
- Ability to stand, reach, bend, and kneel without assistance.
- Ability to independently lift up to 30 lbs. and/or team lift material over 30 lbs.
- Must be a team player.
