About The Position

Teledyne MEC, a flagship business unit of Teledyne Microwave Solutions, designs and manufactures microwave/RF components and integrated assemblies for civilian and military applications. The Manufacturing Test Technician performs precision testing, tuning, troubleshooting, and repair-related work on microwave components and assemblies. The role also involves collaborating with engineers on product releases and troubleshooting while maintaining accurate documentation and following safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Experience in electrical/electronic testing.
• Familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power meters.
• Solid understanding of Ohm’s law and basic electronics theory.
• Detail-oriented, with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production schedules.
• Technical associate degree or equivalent military training.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a D.O.D. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform Thin Film tuning, alignment, troubleshooting, and final testing of microwave components and assemblies.
• Use microwave test equipment, including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, and digital scopes.
• Conduct preliminary testing, pulse focusing, and environmental testing.
• Assemble and disassemble tubes for testing and repair of returned TWTs.
• Collaborate with engineers on new product releases and troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow safety and quality standards.
