About The Position
The Manufacturing Test Technician, also known as a Beam Test Technician, sets up and operates automatic and semi-automatic machines and related equipment. The position is part of the Hardware component manufacturing team at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics in Nicholasville, Kentucky, and is performed onsite. The technician works with precise, highly technical equipment to ensure product performance, monitors process controls for adherence to production specifications, and logs data according to CGMPs and a Quality Management System.
Requirements
- Associate degree with 0–1+ years of experience, or multiple years of relevant experience.
- Ability to work with highly precise equipment, including microscopes, lathes, ultrasonic cleaners, lasers, and chemicals.
- Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment weighing up to 10 lb.
- Ability to stand for 7 hours per day.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to travel to Florida during training.
- ISO 13485 or CGMP experience.
- Experience within a Quality Management System.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate automatic and semi-automatic machines and related equipment.
- Interact with highly technical equipment to ensure product performance.
- Monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls to ensure adherence to production and process specifications.
- Log data in accordance with CGMPs and a Quality Management System.
