About The Position

Vantage MedTech is seeking a Manufacturing Test Technician to provide manufacturing testing services in Olathe, Kansas. The independent contractor engagement is anticipated to last 6–12 months, with a possibility of extension based on business needs. The technician will perform basic testing on components and finished products according to specifications and test procedures, operate basic test equipment, accurately record production data in the ERP system, and support product quality and compliance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of electronic components, tools, and test equipment.
• Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet navigation.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
• Must be authorized to perform services in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic testing on components and finished products according to specifications and test procedures.
• Operate basic test equipment, including safety analyzers, hi-pot testers, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform ERP system transactions accurately to capture required production data.
• Report non-conformities to higher-level technicians or engineers.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Follow documented processes to ensure compliance with FDA GMPs, Quality System Regulations, ISO standards, and other requirements defined by company objectives.
