About The Position

An intermediate-level technician role performing hardware and software testing on Intel-based electromechanical sub-assemblies and complete systems. The position involves setting up standard test equipment, conducting functional, operational, and burn-in tests, following quality assurance instructions and procedures, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, documenting work and results, and keeping the work area clean and neat.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• A+ certification in computer repair.
• Experience assembling and repairing computer hardware.
• Proven skills in testing and quality assurance.
• Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a strong sense of urgency.
• Ability to follow directions and instructions precisely.
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively.
• Good technical writing skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Fast learner with a keen aptitude for technology.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Linux operating-system familiarity is preferred.
• Manufacturing background is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware and software testing of Intel-based electromechanical sub-assemblies and complete systems.
• Set up standard test equipment and conduct functional, operational, and burn-in tests.
• Follow process instructions and procedures for quality assurance.
• Analyze and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Maintain records of work performed and report results.
• Log Problem and Non-Conformance reports in Propel PLM.
• Maintain a clean and neat work area.
