The engineer contributes to the efficiency, quality, and reliability of advanced electronics and RF products used in defense applications. The position develops test procedures for RF and electronic assemblies, supports manufacturing teams in improving processes and reducing cycle times, and leads troubleshooting of WIP issues. It also conducts RCCA investigations, assists with automated product testing, maintains technical documentation, and collaborates with engineering, operations, program management, and technical project teams. The role ensures compliance with applicable aerospace, defense, and high-reliability manufacturing standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent years of hands-on experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Typically 3 or more years of experience in manufacturing test engineering, RF module testing, or related roles in high-reliability, aerospace, or defense electronics manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in RF/microwave, analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit testing at the module and component level.
  • Experience with RF test equipment such as signal generators, network analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement test procedures for production environments.
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies and RCCA investigations, such as 5 Whys and 8D.
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as MATLAB and statistical process control (SPC).
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain a government security clearance.

Nice To Haves
