Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Education Development (GED).
  • 6 months manufacturing experience or equivalent of education and experience.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail.
  • Ability understand and follow standard operating and safety procedures.
  • Read and comprehend verbal and written instructions.
  • Knowledge of hand tools and equipment used in production.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a broad range of responsibilities requiring a high degree of dexterity and the ability to operate manufacturing machines, hand or power tools and run computer operated machinery.
  • Work from traveler instructions, procedures, drawings and/or verbal instructions to complete production work.
  • May set up, and operate production line or different machines, running and monitoring output of machine.
  • Perform functions of an assembly line process.
  • Perform deburring, straightening and sanding of parts to specifications.
  • Maintain accurate and clear documentation and records and/or logs.
  • May monitor technical equipment or do practical work.
  • Assess quality of product output and identify flaws.
  • Move material throughout the work area.
  • Maintain clean and orderly work environment.
  • Demonstrates ability to appear for work on time, follow directions from a supervisor, interact well with co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures, comply with company policies and procedures, goals and objectives, and accepts constructive feedback.
  • Other duties as assigned, requested or needed.
