About The Position

Corvus Robotics is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Manufacturing Technician to join their fast-paced, mission-driven team. The role is instrumental in scaling production and shipping by assisting two technicians and a QA engineer, as well as working closely with two operations associates. The Manufacturing Technician will report directly to the production planner/manager and will help meet production deadlines for drones and landing pads, as well as shipping deadlines for clients.

Requirements

• Ability to come into the office 5x times a week (hours can be flexible e.g. technicians come at 6am, or regular 9-5pm) + attend Friday in person meetings
• Experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or production environment, ideally in a high-growth or fast-paced setting
• Demonstrated ability to follow detailed build and assembly procedures with strong attention to detail
• Comfort working hands-on with hardware, tools, and equipment used in production and testing
• Ability to collaborate closely with technicians, QA, and operations teams to keep production moving
• Physical ability to move and carry heavy objects and boxes
• Strong communication skills and reliability in meeting deadlines under pressure

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in robotics, deeptech, or hardware manufacturing
• Familiarity with quality assurance or quality control processes
• Experience working at an early-stage startup or joining a hardware company early in its growth phase

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day manufacturing operations by assisting technicians with assembly, testing, and production of drones and landing pads.
• Work closely with the QA engineer to uphold quality standards and catch issues before they impact production or shipping.
• Coordinate with operations associates and QA engineers in packing crates and smaller packages to meet shipping deadlines.
• Work closely with all of the manufacturing and ops team in assisting in smaller and larger tasks from 3D printing, creating labels and shipping, office operations (occasionally) + physical tasks like moving large boxes to different locations and warehouse.
• Unpacking incoming packages and bringing to respective rooms, as well as updating and monitoring inventory through company software.
