Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be available to work rotating 8 to 12 hours shifts
  • Must be able to do arithmetic, know how to use percentages and decimals
  • Must be able to read the instructions pertinent to the job.
  • Must work safely and efficiently handling of drums and material, as well as ability to set up, make adjustments, and properly operate a variety of different types of manufacturing equipment is required.
  • Must have sufficient knowledge and ability in keyboarding skills in order to perform data entry activities into online systems.
  • Must be able to operate a process control system.
  • Must be able to operate a fork lift truck or will have the opportunity to be trained to operate a fork lift truck
  • Ability to work legally in the United States.
  • No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
  • No relocation assistance is available for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC)

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-process quality control testing (e.g. viscosities, Moisture, pH, or similar tests).
  • Understand, input data to and use SAP/LIMS.
  • Maintain ISO compliance.
  • Precisely measure, feed materials and control the process in compliance with batch sheets, SOP’s and SOC’s.
  • Monitor raw material and intermediate to assist in ensuring that they are available in sufficient amounts for production demands.
  • Perform cycle counts and perform material movement transactions.
  • Input transactions in the inventory system (currently SAP).
  • Handle waste and RCRA “Hazardous Waste” associated with the job.
  • Label and package finished product for shipment in the proper manner to assure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
  • Record weights of material, yield, finished inventory, temperature, instrument readings, and keep records of the work performed and entering and updating online inventory systems.
  • Work in an efficient manner, eliminating waste wherever possible.
  • Wear all necessary personal protective equipment and cleanroom uniforms required by the job.
