As a Manufacturing Technician, you'll work hands-on in a cleanroom environment to build and test our multimillion-dollar display and wafer fabrication equipment that’s behind the technology we use every day. You'll be responsible for building, repairing, and testing various types of equipment--including electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components. You will perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting, and repairs-- and perform audits to ensure necessary parts are available and inspected for defects. Using test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps you'll test assemblies, complete documentation, perform repairs, or install software to continuously improve our processes. Key Responsibilities Tool Maintenance & Troubleshooting Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventive and corrective maintenance on CVD reactors and associated subsystems (e.g., vacuum pumps, gas panels, MFCs, RF generators, chillers, etc.). Diagnose tool failures and carry out root cause analysis to resolve mechanical, electrical, or process issues. Collaborate with equipment engineers on tool upgrades, retrofits, and modifications. Process Support Assist process engineers in monitoring process stability, performance, and wafer/product output quality. Support process runs, recipe setups, and parameter adjustments based on engineering direction. Perform chamber cleans, parts replacements, and verify coating uniformity or product quality as required. Documentation & Compliance Maintain detailed maintenance logs, process deviation records, and ensure all procedures are followed per standard operating procedures (SOPs). Follow safety protocols, EHS standards, and cleanroom gowning requirements. Continuous Improvement Proactively identify opportunities to improve tool uptime, cycle time, and yield. Participate in 5S, Kaizen, and Lean manufacturing initiatives related to CVD toolsets.
