About The Position

FUJIFILM Electronic Materials, U.S.A., Inc., is a global leader in chemical solutions for the semiconductor industry. They are seeking a Manufacturing Technician for their Carrollton, TX facility. This role supports daily operations in a fast-paced production area, involving hands-on batch processing and liquid production of solvents. Responsibilities include loading and offloading bulk chemical solvents and blends into various containers, monitoring these processes, and maintaining equipment. The company emphasizes innovation in semiconductor chemistry and provides advanced materials for microchip manufacturing.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or GED
  • 0-3 years of manufacturing experience required
  • Basic math skills
  • Good computer skills to include Microsoft Office Products
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Teamwork, Coordination, Organization, Planning - Ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization
  • Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Ability to be fitted for and wear a respirator, if needed
  • Excellent safety, work performance, and attendance records
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner (essential job function for safety-sensitive position)

Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on batch processing and liquid production of solvents.
  • Load and offload bulk chemical solvents and blends into tanker trucks, holding vessels, rail cars, and drums.
  • Monitor tank truck and railcar loading and unloading.
  • Handle and maintain equipment such as pneumatic sanitary pumps, hoses, and filter housings.
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Prepare production processes by studying work orders and setting systems and controls.
  • Produce solvents and solvent blends by initiating, monitoring, and controlling raw material processing.
  • Maintain quality standards by collecting samples, completing quality assurance tests, and adjusting process controls.
  • Maintain processing systems by investigating warnings and malfunctions, and performing required maintenance on production equipment.
  • Clean up after processing.
  • Improve processing systems by identifying problems and recommending new techniques.
  • Maintain processing environment by following safety, health, and environmental standards and procedures.
  • Comply with legal state and federal regulations.
  • Make decisions to ensure production targets are met and operations stay on track.
  • Follow all procedures, work instructions, batch/work orders, special instructions, and finished goods analysis sheets.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value.
  • Work overtime as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
