This position requires testing, troubleshooting and reworking equipment used on aircraft.

Requirements

• AA degree and a minimum of three to five years’ experience in equivalent industry are preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to add and subtract decimals and fractions.
• Ability to utilize complicated drawings and mathematical handbook formulas.
• Ability to work with others as part of a team which includes giving and receiving feedback, assisting others in completion of tasks; possess interpersonal, listening, and participation skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault isolation skills.

Responsibilities

• Testing, troubleshooting and reworking equipment used on aircraft.
• Troubleshoot faults in electronic circuits and systems using various types of test equipment e.g., Special Test Equipment "STE", Automated Test Equipment "ATE", data analyzers, microprocessors emulators, circuit testers, oscilloscopes, and multi-meters.
• Read and interpret production illustrations (PI), wiring diagrams, schematics, understanding symbols, flag notes, and general notes.
• Troubleshoot to component level analog/digital with little to no assistance.
• Quality and efficiency at the source of all handling and provides timely test performance.
• Work on assignments that are complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations with little to no assistance.
