About The Position

Perform Direct Fulfillment manufacturing processes to ensure on-time shipment of quality products, working efficiently to maximize output. The role includes manually assembling and testing systems, obtaining materials, performing computer-based back-flush operations, conducting inventory, and maintaining an orderly and clean work area. It also supports new product and process development by reviewing and updating assembly documentation, assembling initial product runs, collaborating with Engineering and Group Leaders, identifying tools, developing training methods, and tracking process improvement requests. The technician must follow safety, health, security, and personal protective equipment requirements.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Six months of related experience and/or training.
Ability to obtain and maintain all required job-related certifications.

Responsibilities

Manually assemble systems using torque drivers and hardware to a predetermined volume.
Functionally test completed systems according to work processes.
Pull necessary materials from flow racks and bin locations.
Perform back-flush operations on computer operating systems.
Conduct physical inventory in the designated area.
Maintain 5S order and cleanliness.
Review assembly prints, routing notes, and bills of materials for new product development.
Assemble the first run of a product.
Modify or correct assembly documentation.
Work with Engineering toward production build release.
Identify required tools and develop training methods.
Work with Group Leaders to ensure process documentation is current and correct.
Create and track ECRs for process improvements or corrections.
Follow safety rules and use required protective equipment.
Follow applicable safety, health, and company security policies and procedures.
